  1. What a phenomenal place! Friendly staff, great service, and the food was divine. So many delicious options to choose from, it was hard to decide what to get. It’s a good thing that I don’t live nearby, this place would be really bad for the diet. All of the awards Miss Shirley’s has received are well deserved!

I’ve visited Miss Shirley’s a handful of times and have rarely been disappointed. They offer delicious foods at, what I would call a $$ out of 5 price. The food does get more expensive if you opt for their seafood items, but it’s definitely worth it! If you’re coming on a weekend, know it’s a popular brunch spot and you can expect to wait to be seated 10-30 minutes for a group larger than two. The staff at Miss Shirley’s are always pleasant and prompt with their service. On Sundays, it’s gets pretty crowded, and we have experienced small delays in service (understandably).
We start every meal at Miss Shirley’s with their famous monkey bread, baked to perfection with banana, cinnamon and chocolate chips. It’s finished with a chocolate drizzle, powdered sugar, sliced banana and savory chocolate dipping sauce. The monkey bread is a meal in itself, so make sure you save room for your actual meal!
The bayou omelet is one of our favorite meals. It’s a three egg omelet stuffed with fresh shrimp, sausage, peppers, cheese, and onions. It’s served with their everything biscuit and onion hashed potatoes. We’ve also enjoyed their pancakes, and stuffed French toast. It’ll only take one visit to Miss Shirley’s to make you realize you’ll have to come back again, there are simply too many good meals to try!

We went for brunch and had quite a wait, but it was worth it. We had mimosas and these massive plates of french toast. The portions are huge, but so good. Prepare yourself and come hungry… and prepare to leave with a bit too much food in your stomach. So worth it.

Food was good. Had many options on the menu that I would like to go back and try. Restaurant looked nice and had a good atmosphere. I was having lunch with a friend and it took awhile to figure out what we wanted in-between our talking, so the waiter got busy after the second time of asking us if we we’re ready and it was 15 minutes before they came back to the table. Parking for the restaurant was a garage that I had a difficult time getting out of. I’m more than willing to go back and eat here again.
