Absolutely WONDERFUL. I have never had such fresh seafood. We had the raw clams on half shell and they were sweet and tasty. We also had an array of oysters so we could sample many different kinds to determine our favorite. Also had the beet salad that was so good and different than any other restaurant I have been to. The manager came to the table to talk to us and was very nice and informative. Really liked the team efforts in getting our food out. Service was quick and efficient. Should make a reservation well ahead of time if you can – the place is always busy. We were lucky to get in to the bar area right away on a Sunday when they opened. Fantastic!

We came here by chance and what a find! It was rainy and we sat near the entrance. Everything we had was excellent but the highlight was definitely the lobster roll. Best ever lobster roll I had in my life. It was that good. Price was not cheap but reasonable.

I really liked this place. They had a great selection of oysters – and they even served Muscadet by the glass. I haven’t seen that wine at any of the other local oyster restaurants (perhaps I just didn’t notice), but it made me feel like like I was back in the Loire valley. Definitely a must-try restaurant for oyster lovers.

As someone who doesn’t eat seafood and who is also very critical of restaurant burgers, this place has an AWESOME burger. If you’re like me and don’t eat seafood, don’t worry. The burger is phenomenal. Next time, I’m trying the steak to see how good that is. BTW, you typically need a reservation here, if that wasn’t mentioned in the other reviews. This place is very very popular.

UPDATE: The steak isn’t anything to write home about, and the hash that comes with it has lobster in it. Stick to the burger!

Delicious Lobster Rolls!!!!! They are also very well known, of course, for their selection of oysters. Personally I don’t like oysters, but my husband had some and said they were very good. We sat at the bar and watched the oyster gal preparing tons of iced trays of oysters, scallops, crab, etc!! They looked amazing…if you like that stuff. 😉 It is sometimes hard to get seats,. Reservations are strongly recommended. Well worth the effort!!!
